Benoordenhout: Music and Outdoors – No Dutch Required
Two years ago in May, while bicycling past Arendsdorp (a park in Benoordenhout) on a beautiful pre-summer day, I heard music. We had nothing to do, so my children and I made a detour to follow the music. That was around 1pm. At 6 that evening we finally made our way home. It was Mothers’ Day, and my young children had exhausted their ability to focus on this fact by breakfast. The rest of the day, though, was a gift to all of us. [more]

Supperclub: Dinner at D-Light
It used to be a spareribs place – nothing fancy, just hefty servings of good, grilled meat. With sauce, mayo and more mayo stuck to it. And fries on the side. It was the easy option for carnivores, weekend dads and overworked singles. Then it was closed for over a year. A new restaurant moved in so subtly that it went relatively unnoticed until they had a beautifully written notice about their high teas on the chalkboard outside. Join us in this special place for excellent food and good company on Monday, 12 May at 20:00. [more]

Once you've had enough sun, we suggest you seek shade and culture in town – be it the antique market on the Lange Voorhout, the cello concert in the Nieuwe Kerk or the funky performance of Gare du Nord. Enjoy and keep safe! [more]
PGS International 5 in Big Westland Win

With only two weeks until the end of the season, the emphasis was on enjoying the weather and having a bit of fun on the football pitch. The 2nds finished off their unfortunate end to their programme with a 2-0 loss away at KMD; the 1sts also took it easy on their opponents losing 2-1 at Schipluiden; but the 5ths bagged a great 5-1 win away at Naaldwijk.
