Concert Tour of The Hague

(Mon 13 April 2009)

What better way to know a city than taking a tour? COLLEGIUM MUSICUM Den Haag is packing its instrument cases to start the Stadstournee, a concert tour with four performances throughout The Hague. The goal of this project is to present their baroque orchestra to the royal city and all its inhabitants. Four concerts will be performed in different locations of our municipality. The first three are bite-sized concerts with the core ensemble of CMDH and a storyteller, and those will surely work up an appetite to the final concert with full orchestra.

COLLEGIUM MUSICUM Den Haag is an exceptional ensemble of young, talented, energetic musicians who trained at the Koninklijk Conservatorium. Drawn to the Conservatoire from all over the world in order to study with the finest baroque specialists, they were united under the direction of Brazilian/Italian harpsichordist Claudio Ribeiro to form COLLEGIUM MUSICUM Den Haag. Matching precision with fire, variety with cohesion, the group gives an unforgettable performance.
CMDH will be touring from mid April to the beginning of June and will play at Moedercentrum De Koffiepot, Vadercentrum Adam, the Julianakerk and the Nieuwe Kerk. They are looking forward to welcoming you on their tour!
