Cirque Stiletto

(Thu 22 July 2010)

Cirque Stiletto and the Dutch variety diva Ellen ten Damme rock the circus at the World Forum Theatre in The Hague from October 15 until October 24 as part of her Netherlands tour. This is the sequel to last summer’s performances at Theater Carré, Amsterdam which received unanimous press and audience adoration.

This could well be the ‘greatest show on earth’ with Ellen ten Damme and a troupe of internationally acclaimed slick circus acts and dancers in a daring and sensational spectacle. In this chic burlesque style extravaganza you can expect breathtaking acrobatics and contortion, wild dance choreography and fantastic theatrical costumes: think feathers, fishnet, tutus and whips. Ellen’s amazing voice accompanies a live orchestra.

Ellen ten Damme is a genuine multi talented star. She sings, acts, can walk on her hands and plays the violin among other instruments. She has countless film credits, three English-language solo albums under her belt and her latest cabaret-rock-pop album in Dutch ‘Durf jij?’ (Do you dare?) has spent 35 weeks on the Dutch charts. The album’s title track is evocative of the daring circus stunts that are all part of the show.

This sexy cabaret rock diva and her circus are destined to stun audiences. An electrifying night of entertainment, if you dare!
