This coming Friday the Irish Club Netherlands is organising Bloomsday at O’Casey’s which is a commemoration and celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce, during which the events of his novel Ulysses (which is set on 16 June 1904) are relived.
The event is observed annually on 16 June in Dublin and around the world.
Blazes Boylan, Buck Mulligan, Leopold and Molly Bloom, Stephen Dedalus and friends very much desire the pleasure of your company for a literary evening.
Seven readers under the direction of Irish director Paul Treanor are available to offer some, tongue in cheek highbrow entertainment, this year interspersed with musical accompaniment.
This will be a great event full of fun, Joyce and craic. So come by O’Casey’s Irish Pub on June 16 for a wonderful evening. No tickets required
