I LOVE HIPHOP BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER @ Paard

On Saturday 24 June, the 4 elements of hip hop will unite in the ‘Paard’ during the I Love Hiphop Festival. A variety of national and international hip hop artists will demonstrate a piece of their creative, exciting and characteristic way of life with thousands of visitors.

Demonstrations, battles and live performances

Breakdance, DJing, rap and graffiti: not a single element will be forgotten. The festival will be filled with talent and creativity. International breakdance legend Maurizio The Next One will be the judge during the breakdance battles. Jayh will perform, as well as D-Double, Josylvio, Kempi, Pinas and many more. Furthermore, visitors can enjoy live graffiti and street art from artists of The Hague Street Art and multiple guest artists. Come enjoy a Saturday packed with demonstrations, battles and live performances.

Hiphop brings people together

This will be I Love Hiphop Festival’s 9th edition. Every year, the organisation witnesses the festival grow. I Love Hiphop attracted a record of 4000 visitors back in 2016. For the edition of 2017, the organisation expects an even higher number. “We have set up an amazing day and evening program. Both young and old will meet all components of hiphop through some awesome performances. It’s going to be a spectacular day, that’s one thing I’m sure of. Hip hop brings more people together every year. How great is that?” says Peter Oostinga, coördinator of The Hague Hiphop Centre.
