Bar-Restaurant Dendy is situated on The Hague’s stylish Denneweg, and though the restaurant itself is relatively new, it has firmly secured its position not only as a superb dining venue, but more recently, an exclusive and inviting social venue.

In October 2008, partners Igor Kuijer and Keimpe Tuinenga embarked on a journey to kick-start an exciting new Bar-Restaurant in the heart of The Hague, and possibly in one of the most luxurious areas of The Hague at that! Since then, Bar-Restaurant Dendy has thrived, thanks to the attractive location, the inviting atmosphere, stylish interior and of course, the modern ‘Fusion’ menu.

The décor alone makes an elegant statement. The chic leather seating and couches, warm colour scheme of cream, beige and aubergine, delicate floral arrangements accenting each table and the extensive modern nut wood bar place Dendy at the top of our choices for dining venues in The Hague.

Together, Head Chef Miljo Weimar and Sous Chef Rudy van Waterschoot create the contemporary internationally flavoured fusion menu, with an accent towards French and Asian influences.

Enjoy a drink and a casual dinner at the bar. For sophisticated dining, the rear of the restaurant will provide the perfect ambience for any occasion, be it a business lunch or dinner, a romantic dinner for two or a private function. The extensive wine list provides the ideal accompaniment to your meal, whilst the luxurious cognacs and collection of Champaign brands (Veuve Cliquot, Krug, Moet et Chandon and Dom Perignon) will cap the evening off in style.

Bar Restaurant Dendy is located on the corner of the chic shopping street the Denneweg and Hooistraat. After a soothing wander through the shops of the Denneweg, where better to rest your tired feet and sip on a fresh cup of coffee than Dendy? Their coffee is prepared by an experienced and knowledgeable barista, a master in combining different ingredients and making the perfect coffee.

Every third Wednesday of the month, Dendy host a social drinks event intended for all internationals and expats who are looking to relax in the company of new and existing friends, enjoy the beverages, snacks and ambiance of Dendy and expand their social network. On Sunday 25 April, at 18:30, Bar-Restaurant Dendy is hosting the sixth Hague Dining Experience, an initiative of TheHagueOnLine. You are invited to join us for pre-drinks at the bar, followed by dinner together in the restaurant.

What is the Hague Dining Experience?

TheHagueOnLine.com features a new restaurant each month in cooperation with participating restaurants in The Hague and its surrounding areas.
