Walk the Line Festival 2012: Alternative music rocks The Hague!
The two-day music festival Walk the Line, by the team behing the popular Crossing Border Festival, takes place on 11 and 12 May in it's third edition. The festival promises audiences of The Hague a promising selection of (inter-)national alternative music featuring the talents of tomorrow, icons of underground, singer-songwriters, poppy rock music, rocking indie, uptempo folk-n-roll and dirty electro. At seevral locations in The Hague city centre - Paard van Troje, Paardcafé, Supermarkt, Zwarte Ruiter, Humanity House and Het Nutshuis - expect anything alternative, promising and of the highest quality.
Walk the Line was first organized in 2010. After a very successful debut, the third edition this month is set to rock The city centre.
British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club has been confirmed as one of the headliners of the festival, while Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves Of Destiny, Liz Green and the unique project by Swimming and Dallas Simpson 'The Binaural Gig' will also take to the stage.
Other names that add to the massive line-up include Moss, Lower Dens, Willy Moon, Milagres, Treetop Flyers, Vadoinmessico, Ron Pope, Diagrams, Com Truise, Alt-J, Tellison, Gang Colours, Cave Painting, Teddiedrum, You Say France & I Whistle, Anna Aaron, The Hickey Underworld, Paul Thomas Saunders, Rams’ Pocket Radio, A Cure for Gravity, B Sharp and Raspy Stone.
