Spinning for Kenya
On Sunday 1 April, the Grand Cafe at De Uithof in The Hague will be full of one hundred spinning bikes. A four hour spinning marathon to benefit orphans in Kenya kicks off at 11.00am. Why not take part in this fun fitness challenge, either solo or in a team, and contribute to a worthy cause?
Five INHOLLAND students have organised the spinning marathon to benefit orphans in Kenya. The marathon takes place over four hours with a short break every hour to catch your breath or switch team members.
While spinning, participants are provided with fruit and drinks and afterwards there are refreshments available.
You can register as a solo spinner or as a team (maximum 4 people).
Participants pay a minimum of €100 per bicycle (students € 50) and the proceeds will go to the orphans of Kenya.
The spinning marathon benefit is organised in collaboration with the Verkaart Development Team (VDT), a private charitable organisation with the aim to structurally facilitate and support projects that can efficiently build the future of Kenya. A large part of the activities of VDT are aimed at children in Kenya.
Super athletes may want to register for the spinning marathon solo, however the challenge is a great opportunity to get together with friends or work colleagues, create a team and sweat for a cause!
Spectators also welcome.
