Supervised bicycle parks in The Hague have reduced their prices considerably. This is a one-year experiment to persuade cyclists not to leave their bikes all over the place, while many official bike parks are standing empty. The Biesieklette bicycle park is now charging 20 cents a day instead of 20 cents an hour, while at the bike racks on the Spuiplein, the first hour is free.
