The Peace Palace in The Hague is to get a visitors’ centre. An architect’s model of the new boomerang-shaped building was presented on Thursday. The centre will be located by the Palace gate, and it is expected that visitors will be able to use it as from next year. They will be able to obtain information on the work of the Peace Palace. At the moment, tourists are restricted to taking photos through the gate. The building will be subsidised by the Municipality of The Hague, among others.
