The PVV party opposes the placing of a large LED screen on the Strijkijzer, the highest residential tower block in the city.

The municipal council must retract its permit because the screen is ‘megalomaniac’ in proportions and is a danger to traffic, say the PVV.

The party believes that traffic travelling on the Utrechtse Baan will be distracted by the images of cultural festivities shown on the screen.

The party also accuses Vestia of using funds for the project that are supposed to be used for the tenants.
