The next Feel at Home International Community Fair will take place in The Hague City Hall on 3 February 2019. Last year the Fair featured 150 exhibitors, presenters and performers and attracted over 4000 visitors, making it the biggest gathering of the international community in the region.
The central theme of next year’s event is Bringing Communities Together. The Fair is unique in attracting so many diverse groups and helping to make connections between them. Local and international sports, social and community groups join with service providers, small businesses, schools and universities to offer a varied programme of information, activities, demonstrations and try-outs throughout City Hall.
Exhibitors are invited to share the idea, interest or game which unites and excites their community, with visitors to the Fair. Activities and animations will emphasise the connections and cooperation between different groups, in a celebration of the uniquely connected international community of The Hague region.
Exhibitor registration is now open on the website: www.feelathomeinthehague.com. Exhibitors can register directly in one of three categories.
For commercial standholders the Feel at Home Fair represents an unrivalled opportunity to reach a huge cross-section of the influential international community. Companies can demonstrate the relevance of their products to international customers and show their staff are not just English-speaking, but also friendly and approachable. Past exhibitors especially appreciated the quality of the interaction with visitors whom they found to be engaged and inquisitive.
The inclusion of Sports, Social and Community Groups and a wide variety of international schools and universities attracts a much broader audience than conventional fairs – local and international; recently arrived and residents of many years; parents and teachers, as well as children and students.
The low price point for a Small Business stand makes the Fair a very attractive proposition for local entrepreneurs to reach such a large and important target audience. The Workshop Programme is a further opportunity to present products and services in more detail.
Local and international Sports, Social and Community groups can participate free of charge. The Fair allows them to present the human face of their groups in order to attract new members and wider audiences for their activities and performances.
The social ambience of the Fair will be as important as ever, with an International Food Court overlooking the activities, and a bar and networking café where people can catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
Besides the Activities and Games on Central Park, there will be a full schedule of Performances on the Podium and an interactive Workshop Programme.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join the international community at the biggest and friendliest event in their social calendar: 11am – 5pm, Sunday 3 February 2019, The Hague City Hall.
