This 4th edition of the Den Haag Urban Trail is sponsored this year by KLM.
More of a “fun run” than a race, the 5km or 10km course is a fabulous way to enjoy The Hague. Looping not just around but THROUGH famous attractions and more secret spots, the Urban Trail makes running more accessible for those who may enjoy some exercise, but don’t want the pressure of a timed race.
Runners start in waves, and though it is a run, complete with bib numbers, you can take the course as your own pace. The start is at the Lange Voorhout and finish is Lange Vijverberg.
You will be allocated a start wave, and there are 5 waves (leaving every 20 minutes from 9.30am). If you would like to run with friends, you can run together in a later wave if you wish (but cannot join earlier waves). You need to register for either a 5 or 10km but can change this on the day if you wish.
The minimum age to take part is 12.
Breakfast is included from 10am and all participants receive a medal at the finish line.
Registration is open now and information is available in English on their website.
