Top talent Víctor Manuel Baena de la Torre back in the Lutheran Church

Two organ solos in the last program and the audience held their breath in awe. Víctor Manuel Baena de la Torre stood out in Pracht en Praal, in which students from Schütz’s Amsterdam Conservatory performed contemporaries from the balconies of the Lutheran Church. The baroque music in surround under the direction of Jos van Veldhoven made a big impression last season. But the two solo pieces from Víctor Manuel Baena de la Torre excelled with tasteful recordings, balanced play and sublime timing.

Therefore, the Lutherse Kerk are proud to announce a solo recital from the Spanish organist. He performs organ works in which composers from Cabezón to Bach can be appreciated fr te beautiful work they are in their numerous variations and fantasies on existing melodies. It is a repertoire in which the famous – admired by Mozart – Bätz organ of the Lutheran Church can truly shine.
