Freaky Frankenstein Concert for Toddlers
Cheerful toddlers’ concerts and freaky Frankenstein by the Residentie Orkest
The Residentie Orkest The Hague has two wonderful programmes on offer for its youngest audience members this November. On Saturday, 16 November, the little ones will have the opportunity to delight in our toddlers’ concerts in De Nieuwe Regentes theatre. And on Sunday, 17 November, also in De Nieuwe Regentes, children age six and over will be able to enjoy Frankenstein, a funny and exciting musical theatre performance about men and monsters.
Sat 16 Nov, 11.00 am and 1.00 pm in De Nieuwe Regentes, The Hague
It’s never too early to start listening to classical music! The earlier children are introduced to the beautiful sounds and melodies, the more open their minds are to future experiences. At our toddlers’ concerts, we perform the most cheerful and fun pieces of music. Sitting quietly isn’t a requirement: everyone is invited to join in and sing along. Afterwards, the toddlers are welcome to try out the instruments themselves.
For all ages. Free for children under 12, adults: 15 euros.
Sun 17 Nov, 11.00 am in De Nieuwe Regentes, The Hague
Young scientist Victor F. is obsessively working towards his dream: unravelling the secret of life. With the best of intentions, he builds a creature out of loose parts in his laboratory. One stormy night, everything falls into place. He did it – it’s alive! Or did his experiment fail miserably? Frankenstein, by director Pepijn Cladder, is a funny and exciting musical theatre performance about power and powerlessness, possibilities and impossibilities, crossing lines and conscience.
For children age six and above. Children 10 euros, adults: 15
