Live on the Beach feat. KEANE @ Scheveningen Strand

The English top band KEANE are performing at a huge outdoor concert this summer on the beach at Scheveningen. The festival Live on the Beach is the only time they will play in the Netherlands this year.

British KEANE, known for top hits like Somewhere Only We Know, Everybody’s Changing and This Is the Last Time, have previously sold out Live at the Beach shows, along with Marco Borsato, Doe Maar and Anouk. Thanks to headliners like these, the beach concerts in Scheveningen are now well-known internationally.

A large number of hits appear on their four albums, of which more than 12 million have been sold worldwide. The debut album Hopes and Fears is one of the 40 best-selling albums ever in the UK. This same album was in the Dutch Top 100 for no less than 95 weeks. In 2013, the band decided to take a break. In the meantime, lead singer Tom Chaplin released two solo albums and now, more than five years later, KEANE is returning full of energy and touring Europe.

In a video shout out, singer Tom Chaplin says: “We’re so happy to be heading back to the Netherlands for the first time in years – we’re really looking forward to Live on the Beach in The Hague! ”

This anniversary edition of Live on the Beach has a packed program. The lineup includes Suzan & Freek, Rondé, Pat Smith and Van Dik Hout. With their single Als Het Avond Is, Suzan & Freek have been in the top 10 of the Dutch Top 40 since November 2018. Rondé, known for the hits Run, We Are One and Naturally, has just released the new single Anyone. Pat Smith guarantees summery sounds with songs like Dreamgirl and Love Drunk. And for 25 years, the many hits by Van Dik Hout, including Stil In Mij, Zij Maakt Het Verschil and De Keuzes Die Je Maakt are the perfect ingredients for a great musical experience!

The evening will be spectacularly closed by Faithless with Maxi Jazz DJ set. Faithless broke through in 1995 with the single Salva Mea. Three years later they scored a mega hit with God is a DJ in more than 25 countries. Maxi Jazz closes Live on the Beach 2019 with all Faithless hits.
