Music Academy The Hague (MDH) is organizing an Open Day on Saturday 23 June from 11.00 to 16.00 in the Berlage House, Raamweg 36 in The Hague. Entrance is free.
The Open Day starts at 11.00 with a family show in the main hall: 35 young strings will play The Oriental Princess under the direction of guest conductor Lenneke Willems. This lasts until 12.00. Afterwards there is a continuous concert, provided by students from the Music Academy.
To celebrate its anniversary Music Academy The Hague (this year celebrates its first lustrum) opens its doors to music lovers of all ages. Teachers explain their lessons and courses and everyone can try out an instrument such as piano, accordion, cello, guitar, oboe or clarinet.
Music Academy The Hague is the largest music school in the Haaglanden region.
At MDH, quality and pleasure in making music are of paramount importance. Whether young or old, beginner or advanced, MDH’s highly experienced, competent teachers can help everyone realize their musical wishes.
MDH offers lessons on all common instruments, singing lessons, introductory courses for children, the possibility to join various ensembles as well as providing special preparation for, among other things, conservatory admission and the examinations of the Associated Board of Royal School of Music (ABRSM).
