What is the NDC?
The National Diabetes Challenge is a 20-week walking event that improves the quality of life of people with diabetes. With the support of the BvdGF, local care and sports professionals organize a walk every week. In small steps, these professionals train together with the participants for the National Diabetes Challenge Week from 25 to 28 September 2019. The goal of this week is to walk for four consecutive days. You walk for three days in your own environment. On the fourth day you walk the last few kilometres together with all participants from the country during the NDC Festival. The NDC festival takes place on September 28, 2019 in The Hague.
