Project Landing takes newcomers on a three-day expedition through the South Holland landscape in the The Hague/Delft/Leiden region. They discover the nature and landscape of their new living environment, and through it the roots of Dutch society and culture. On Thursday April 18 from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. there will be a general information evening in OPEN/Dok, Delft.

The expedition takes place on May 26, June 16 and June 29.

Project Landing was created to inspire newcomers to discover and experience the Netherlands in a different way. The participants are taken out of their daily routine and office buildings. They are brought in contact with surrounding nature and landscapes so that they start to feel more connected in their new living and working environment.

The expeditions are led by passionate experts and volunteers who are happy to share their knowledge and experience. They show how Dutch culture and history are strongly linked to the geography of this place. “A culture is rooted in nature” is our motto.

The first Project Landing pilot was successfully held in Noord-Brabant last October. There are 20 places available for the three-day expedition in South Holland on May 26, June 16 and June 29. On Thursday April 18th, between 7:00 and 8:30 PM there is a general information evening in OPEN/Dok in Delft were we will present the program and  answer questions. For interest and registration, both for the information evening and for participation in the expedition, please mail to info@projectlanding.nl

What is Project Landing?

The Project Landing Foundation has the mission to inspire newcomers in the Netherlands and guide them in discovering the landscape, nature and the related culture in their living and working environment. We do this by organizing landscape expeditions, courses, lectures and community activities in the field of landscape, nature and culture. Organizing landscape expeditions is central to the project. The aim is to create an inspiring learning environment in which one can discover, experience and share the real Dutch landscape with each other.
