From Friday 14 to Sunday 23 December 2018, the romantic Lange Voorhout will be transformed into the Royal Christmas Fair for 10 days. This unique and atmospheric Christmas market celebrates its five-year jubilee this year with special programming and a distinctive offer.
MIDDLE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTER
The Royal Christmas Fair is also returning to the middle of the historic center of The Hague this year on perhaps the most beautiful avenue in the Netherlands. In the middle of the Binnenhof, Noordeinde Palace, embassies, museums and attractive shopping areas such as the Denneweg, the Plaats and the Plein. More than 80 Christmas houses, 100,000 twinkling LED lights in the trees and the beautiful surroundings provide the ultimate Christmas atmosphere.
EXPERIENCE THE HAGUE
Because of the unique location, a visit to the Royal Christmas Fair can be combined with a day or night in The Hague. An afternoon of shopping in the city center, fresh air on the beach of Scheveningen or Kijkduin, enjoy in one of the many restaurants or cozy bars.
The programming at and during the Royal Christmas Fair is extremely versatile. In addition to the atmospheric decoration with fires and lots of lights, there are Christmas actors, (children’s) choirs, the only real Santa Claus, cultural activities and performances.
What you absolutely can not miss this year?
– Gospel Night on Saturday evening December 15th
