The Hague HighLights: Keys of Light

Anyone thinking of The Hague will remember the iconic buildings of the city. From Thursday 8 November to Saturday 15 December, the Kurhaus is literally in the spotlight for fifteen evenings (every Thu, Fri, Sat). The building comes to life with fascinating video projections. There is also a projection at the MuseumKwartier at the Binnenhof: Old Masters New Heroes.

Keys of Light, interactive piano installation

The interactive piano installation Keys of Light gives sound and color to the famous history of the Kurhaus at Scheveningen as a concert stage. Talented pianist or starting musician? Crawl behind the wing and take control of the animation on the building! As long as there is playing, light compositions and animations are projected on the building. One piano key can be enough for a big light effect. Always different … you can watch for hours! This installation is built according to the latest lighting techniques. Special guest pianists are invited to provide a spectacular projection.

The Hague HighLights
Light art, projections and fireworks. The Hague HighLights is a series of light events in November and December. View all events on the website!

The first edition of The Hague HighLights is an initiative of Feest aan Zee. This projection event is organized by the creative organization bureau Lustr and Mr.Beam, an artists’ collective that designs spatial projections and animation performances. In bad weather this event can be canceled.
