HR Onboarding Officer
In this multifaceted role, you are in charge of the on boarding of new staff, you brief new starters on our salaries, benefits and relocation packages. You liaise with the new starters and the Head Teacher and manage contracts, ensuring that appropriate documents, including criminal checks, are collected. You help build and ultimately manage our dedicated onboarding platform and tools. You support and advise international starters with their relocation and you help new colleagues to settle in The Hague. You go out of your way to make them feel welcome, as well as guide them in the practical matters, including finding appropriate accommodation, registering with the Gemeente, setting up bank accounts, and more. You employ a pragmatic approach. And, when colleagues decide to move on you ensure that the leavers have a positive experience as they leave.
This is a unique opportunity to utilise your communication and people skills along with strong organisational/administrative skills. You’ll have to bring attention-to-detail and accuracy to ensure correct data is entered in HR Systems and that appropriate procedures are followed. We recruit around 75 new starters from all over the world annually; and it will be your responsibility to ensure they have a positive on boarding experience.
