The Feel at Home International Community Fair is a celebration of the uniquely connected and cosmopolitan community of The Hague: providing a warm welcome to newcomers and a friendly meeting place for internationals already living in The Netherlands. An event where everyone and anyone in our diverse community can Feel at Home.
The 13th edition on Sunday 2 February 2020 will showcase all that is bright for internationals in The Hague region. From exciting career opportunities to ambitious new business challenges; from multinational institutions at the forefront of innovative thinking and technologies, to world-class schools and universities providing the skills for the next generation.
The Hague is a bright place with top class infrastructure and services. A city where talented individuals thrive and where internationals of all backgrounds can live a full and rewarding life.
The Feel at Home Fair is the biggest gathering of the international community in the region with over 4000 visitors and 100 nationalities. You can view the Fair website with all the information on the 2020 Bright Community theme here.
For commercial stand-holders the Fair represents an unrivalled opportunity to reach a huge cross-section of this influential and affluent audience. The inclusion of Sports, Social and Community Groups and a wide variety of international schools and universities attracts a much broader audience than conventional fairs – local and international; recently arrived and residents of many years; parents and teachers, as well as children and students.
The Fair is a platform for service providers to demonstrate the relevance of their products to international customers and show their staff are not just English-speaking, but also friendly and approachable.
For international employers the Fair is an opportunity to present their organisation to Hague residents and prospective employees.
The low price point for a Small Business stand makes the Fair a very attractive proposition for local entrepreneurs with businesses to reach such a large and important target audience. In 2020 a new Premium Stand will be available to small businesses which employ no more than 3 people. These stands will have the added benefit of a back wall and carpet to give extra impact.
The Seminar and Workshop Programmes are further opportunity for commercial stand-holders to present their products and services in more detail.
Local and international not for profit Sports, Social and Community groups can participate free of charge. The Fair allows them to present the human face of their groups in order to attract new members and wider audiences for their activities and performances.
Each year the Fair attracts a unique mix of up to 150 exhibitors from across these groups, making it a one-shop stop for tips and information on how to get the most from life in the region. You can view the 2019 Exhibitor List here.
