More and more tourists are  discovering  The Hague as a place to visit.  In 2016 there was a growth of 9.3% in domestic and 6% in foreign tourists.

Together, the number of tourists in The Hague rose by 7.4%, slightly above the national average of 7%. The Hague is now second tourist city in The Netherlands after Amsterdam.

The Hague is especially popular with German tourists and visitors from Belgium. According to Den Haag Marketing, international guests spend an average of €215 per day in The Hague while  Dutch tourists spend €95 euros per day.
