The 8 new aldermen were officially inaugurated on 7 June. This means that The Hague has a new Municipal Executive (college van burgemeester en wethouders). The Municipal Council also bid farewell to a number of members of the former Municipal Executive.

Before the inauguration the Council bid farewell to departing aldermen Rabin Baldewsingh(PvdA), Tom de Bruijn (D66), Karsten Klein (CDA) and Joris Wijsmuller (Haagse Stadpartij). Klein and Wijsmuller will remain members of the Municipal Council.

Saskia Bruines (D66) and Boudewijn Revis (VVD) return as aldermen in the new municipal executive.

New Municipal Executive

The new aldermen are:

Saskia Bruines (D66) who has a  portfollio that includes  Education, Knowledge Economy and International Affairs.

Boudewijn Revis (VVD)

Bert van Alphen (GroenLinks)

Robert van Asten (D66)

Rachid Guernaoui (Hart voor Den Haag/Groep de Mos)

Richard de Mos (Hart voor Den Haag/Groep de Mos)

Kavita Parbhudayal (VVD)

Liesbeth van Tongeren (GroenLinks).
