Today, due to a strike by  bus drivers, no buses from the regional bus company  Connexxion will leave from depots in The Hague, Zoetermeer, Delft and Maasdijk. The bus drivers are striking over pay.

The service between  Leiden and The Hague which is run  jointly  with Arriva  will operate normally.

The negotiations for  a new collective labor agreement for the 12,000 public transport employees  have been in a deadlock for some time. After nationwide strikes on 4 January, 30 April and 1 May, the actions are now being  continued on a region level.

Last week there was also a regional buses strike  which affected  services from Leiden, Alphen aan den Rijn, Gouda, Lisse and Schoonhoven depots.
