ADO Den Haag hosted De Graafschap in the Cars Jeans stadium late on Saturday night, the crowd were all ready to go as the game kicked off at 20:45.

The first half saw not much to excite the supporters. The returning Nasser El Khayati and Elson Hooi going close for ADO after a dead opening twenty minutes.

The second half began with a bang, straight from the restart Hooi and Khayati missed clear chances. ADO were trying to push forward at every moment, but there seemed a lack of conviction.

The visitors were always a danger and if not for Robert Zwinkels’s world class save from Leeroy Owusu, ADO would have been a goal down. The game died a death and yet De Graafschap almost snatched it after Lex Immers gave the ball away, an intended lob from the strikers not only beat  Zwinkels but the bar too.

A goalless, lackluster draw, ADO lucky to keep at least the one point, the fans not happy.

ADO Den Haag’s final home game of 2018 is the cracker against Feyenoord on Sunday 23rd December, kick-off 14:30.
