From March to 1 October 2019, the Koningstunnel will close for renovation. This means that car traffic through the tunnel will not be possible. About 20,000 cars drive through the tunnel every day. This traffic will have to find a different route. That is why the renovation of the Koningstunnel is expected to cause delays. The Koningstunnel is located in the center of The Hague and connects the Lekstraat with the Koningskade and is therefore an important access route for many people and organisations.
What does this mean for you in practice?
To inform residents about the renovation and alternative transport options for employees, visitors and suppliers, there will be an information meeting on 21 January 2019 as joint partners.
Attendees will receive a packet with all information, diversion routes and alternative transport options.
If necessary, appropriate agreements can be made to arrange targeted mobility management measures for organisations.
Be inspired and informed!
