The first 30,000 LEGO® bricks have arrived with a large LEGO® truck for the construction of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Scheveningen. A number of children from the neighborhood came along, joined by Boet Hensen, Cluster General Manager of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Scheveningen. They were joined by Councilor Boudewijn Revis and the group took a ‘dip’ in the impressive mountain of LEGO® bricks on the Scheveningen Boulevard. It symbolised the start of the laying of the total of three million bricks required for the indoor attraction.
The objective of LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres is to provide a creative environment for children aged 3 to 10 years. The attraction in Scheveningen will have themed LEGO® play areas, a creative LEGO® classroom, a construction and testing area, a themed LEGO® ride, a 4D cinema and a MINILAND. There are also special rooms for parties and parties and there is a classroom for a special master class from a LEGO® Master Model Builder.
Finally, the attraction has a large LEGO® store on the boulevard. The unique LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres have been developed by Merlin Entertainments. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is inspired by the experience of children aged 3 to 10 years.
