The Global Entrepreneurship Summit is being hosted at The World Forum in The Hague This week as a joint initiative between the United States and the Netherlands. Bringing together 2,000 participants from over 120 countries, the summit revolves around 5 themes: Agri/Food, Connectivity, Energy, Health and Water with the theme of The Future Now.
Entrepreneurs from around the world applied to attend, for the opportunity to meet with investors and policy makers. The programme was launched on Monday by the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
Day one was opened with speeches by Queen Máxima, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao and the Chair of GES 2019, Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Sigrid Kaag.
Day two brings many more workshops and discussions on topic such as Women & Entrepreneurship, Access to Capital and Young Entrepreneurs: spreading entrepreneurial mindset across Europe.
