Three men and a birdie win TheHagueOnLine Golf Tournament 2019

On Tuesday 9 July,  Golfbaan  Bentwoud   hosted the 9th annual TheHagueOnLine  Golf tournament  for International & Expat sports & social clubs, organizations and companies.

Eight  teams consisting of  3 or 4 players per team played a Florida  scramble format to compete for local bragging rights.  There were also individual prizes for longest drive (male and female) and neary (nearest the pin on a par 3).

The tournament was competitive  with only 2 stokes separating the top 3 teams in the  field.  The  scoring was very impressive with seven  teams shooting  netto  par or better for the 18 holes.  The top three teams  all  returned   under par gross scores.

The winning team was Three Men and a birdie  who shot a netto score 59 (gross  67).

In second place  with a netto score of 60 (gross 70)  were the TheHagueOnline.

In third place were  Shell  with a netto score of 61 (gross 67) strokes.  Shell also won the award for the lowest gross score on countback.

The individual winners were:

Longest drive men – Simon Short  ( Three men and a birdie)

Longest drive female  and the neary were both won by Caroline van Lanschot  (Three men and a birdie)
