Food festival Rrrollend Den Haag (10-13 May)

Rrrollend Den Haag is a lovely food festival in The Hague’s city centre. Dozens of food trucks, lots of music and delicious bites combined into a huge open-air restaurant. The (free entry) event will surprise you with great food, drinks and the ultimate festival feeling on the beautiful Lange Voorhout.

During a historical spectacle on May 12, 2018, a replica of the sand yacht designed by Simon Stevin will be unveiled. In 1602 he reached a speed of 40 km per hour on a journey to Petten. The sand yacht is being rebuilt by students from ROC Mondriaan. During this spectacle weekend there will also be a demonstration of old Scheveningen crafts. (Starting time still subject to change)

Summer of Love Market (10-13 May)

Go back in time during the Summer of Love Market! This weekend market lets you relive the turbulent 60s with a combination of hippie, bohemian and lifestyle products.

Come to Scheveningen and let your flower power hat blow off your head!
