Chinese New Year 2019 (9 February)

While 2019 has only just begun, people are already busy preparing for the Chinese New Year. On 5 February 2019 the Year of the Dog will end and the Year of the Pig starts. Join the celebrations in The Hague on Saturday 9 February!


APCH Afternoon Tea Concert (9 February)

On February 9, the Afternoon Tea Concert at the American Protestant Church of The Hague will feature a varied program. The young pianist Johannes Asfaw will play the Eligie op 3 no.1 by Rachmaninoff and the 2e rhapsody op.79 no.2 by Brahms. The Golden Circle Quartet, with soprano Ana Lopez, alto Carolina Luis Alves, tenor Benjamin Jago Larham and baritone Andrew Hopper will perform a program with Chorales by J.S. Bach.


Grauzone Festival (9 February)

The full lineup has been released with Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) (US), The Messthetics (US), Pink Turns Blue (GER), The Blinders (UK), Sink Ya Teeth (UK), The Cosmic Dead (UK), Charlie & The Lesbians (NL), Nov3l (CAN) Rude 66 (NL) and Nik Void (UK).


Rotterdam Art Week (7-10 February)

Art Rotterdam celebrates its 20-year anniversary. For this jubilee edition, the fair has sharpened its varied model focused on young art and has put collaboration centre-stage. In a more intimate atmosphere, there is more focus on connection between national and international galleries. For four days, the Van Nelle factory forms the backdrop for the latest developments in the visual arts.
