Here’s your weekly summary of What’s On 

This is our top list of events, exhibitions, music, festivals and more to keep you entertained this weekend. We include events from The Hague, Leiden, Delft, Scheveningen and everywhere in between.

Below the four featured events, you can find other things happening this weekend, as well as ongoing exhibitions and festivals. You’ll also find all our upcoming listings with links so you can plan ahead. There are family-friendly suggestions too, making sure everyone can explore the area and its culture together. Outdoor Cinema in Zeeheldenkwartier (Saturdays throughout August) 

Feel like a relaxing movie night with the neighborhood? Float-in with your own seat in the open air! Large screen movie theater Omniversum and Grandcafé Victoria join forces on Sundays and present beautiful films in August and September, on the Prins Hendrikplein in the middle of the Zeeheldenkwartier. The evening starts at sunset around 9:30 PM, lasts an average of 45 minutes, is suitable for all ages and completely free!

Green Garden Festival 2019 (24 August) 

On August 24th Paard will join forces with the best party venues in town for the first edition of Green Garden Festival. A brand new festival by Paard, Beachclub Indigo, Whoosah Beachclub, LITT Event, Mama Africa and Vunzige Deuntjes in our very own backyard; the Maliefield! Together we will represent the sound of the city with a broad musical, cultural and culinary program. You can expect different stages with genres like HipHop, R&B, Techno/House and Afropop. There will also be live (pop)music!

Project Landing Nature and Culture Expeditions (25 August and 1 September)

Project Landing takes newcomers on a three-day expedition through the South Holland landscape in the The Hague/Delft/Leiden region. They discover the nature and landscape of their new living environment, and through it the roots of Dutch society and culture. 

Weekend of Romantic Music 2019 (23-25 August) 

The Weekend of Romantic Music festival in Rotterdam, a classical era experience like no other, has been held for over thirty years now. This weekend features live classical music performances in a breathtaking setting.
