We are looking for a Student Supervisor to help in the organisation of a safe and stimulating play environment and to support the development of students’ personal, social and independence skills. We have a part-time, temporary (January to July 2017) post available of 22 hours per week at our Junior School Vlaskamp Campus in The Hague.

At the BSN it is our belief that every child deserves the very best start in life and we make it our purpose to provide just that to all the children who enter our doors. We endeavour to provide the best possible teaching and curriculum; we want every child to make progress and achieve the very best they can; but most of all we want the children at the BSN to be happy and enjoy their life with us.

Our team of student supervisors support play and personal development through their interaction with students in the playground, through leading games and enabling a wide range of play opportunities. We are looking for candidates with experience of working with young children, the ability to control a group with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

It is essential that applicants are clear communicators in the English Language, whilst knowledge of other languages would be an advantage. Our student supervisors promote and safeguard the welfare of the students, support health and safety and carry out minor first aid if and when necessary. Applicants will therefore also have a current First Aid certificate or the willingness to be trained in the practice of First Aid.

We offer competitive salaries and attractive benefits such as a pension plan, well-being initiatives and professional development support.
